AmeriCold Logistics, the largest provider of temperature controlled distribution services in the US is seeking a Janitor to join the team at our Russellville, AR facility.
Primary Responsibility: Keeps warehouse in clean and orderly condition. Tends dock areas, freezer areas, and associate break areas. Ensures sanitation of these work areas.
Essential Functions:
1. Clean warehouse with hand brooms, power scrubbers, sweepers and vacuum cleaners to meet company standards.
2. Remove all refuse from building and office daily, ensuring that trashcans are empty and clean.
3. Clean break rooms and work areas.
4. Repair damage to pallets.
5. Relocate, move and adjust office furniture as necessary.
6. Ensure that pest control systems are operating effectively and report any problems to supervisor.
7. Remove ice and snow from pedestrian walkways and parking lots as seasonally required.
8. Keep company grounds free of litter and debris.
9. Work safely. Report hazards to shift supervisor.
10. Wash and/or sweep insides of trailers and/or railcars.
11. Other duties as requested.

Experience:
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) plus three months related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
Ability to solve routine problems
Ability to understand safety rules, procedure manuals, and diagrams Physical Requirements: While performing the essential functions of this job, the associate is frequently required to use hands to handle objects: talk or hear; stand; walk: and reach with hands and arms. The associate is occasionally required to sit: climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl: and taste or smell. The associate is frequently exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the warehouse is usually moderate.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
